Dan Morrison is originally from Lake Tahoe, CA. As a California native, he spent most of his time outdoors; skiing, swimming, boating, hiking, camping, and exploring the great wide world. But, Dan knew there was more out there for him to explore.
After Dan graduated high school he attended San Diego State University where he received his BA in Theatre Arts. While rocking the boards at SDSU, Dan received collegiate acting awards for his roles as Louis in Angels in America, Mike in A Lie of the Mind and Katherine in The Taming of the Shrew.
Later, Dan earned his MFA from the prestigious American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and received much notoriety for his roles in The Foreigner, Sarah Ruhl's west coast premier of Orlando, and as Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. While attending ACT, Dan was accepted into a world theater conference in San Miniato, Italy to study musical theater and world languages.
In 2008 Dan felt the call for the great white way and moved to New York City. He has since acted in fantastic venues all over the city. Dan also co-created an innovative new theater company called The New Collectives (TNC). Since its inception, TNC has staged several successful performances and has developed an incredible youth education department.
